Onion Bhajias

Ingredients


3 tbsp besan or gram flour
1 tbsp Hot Curry Powder
A pinch of salt
Approximately 5 tbsp water
2 medium onions, peeled and finely sliced
Oil for frying


Instructions


1. Mix together the flour, Curry Powder and salt. Blend in the water to form a smooth thick batter and stir in the onion.

2. Heat the oil in a deep fat fryer at 200°C. Divide the mixture into 6. Drop the mixture off a tablespoon into the oil.

3. Deep fry for 5-10 minutes until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper and serve.
