Lamb Rogan Josh

Ingredients


3 tbsp vegetable oil
1 large onion, peeled and chopped 2 tsp garlic puree
1 green pepper, chopped
450g lamb, cubed
1 sachet Rogan Josh curry sauce mix
375 ml water or stock
2 tbsp Tomato Puree
2 tomatoes, quartered


Instructions


1. Heat the oil, fry the onion until well browned.

2. Add the garlic puree, lamb and green pepper, continue to fry for a further 5 minutes.

3. Mix the contents of the sachet with water, pour onto the meat. Bring to the boil, stirring continuously.

4. Stir in the tomato puree, cover and simmer for approximately 1-11/2 hours. Until the meat is render.

5. 15 minutes before serving, add the quartered tomatoes.

Serve with Naan Bread or Pilau Rice.
